Addressing the requests from potential customers, the system might be used for outdoor sketching. This requires the use of HMD, with tracking and video transmission components, which make up the “Mobile AR Edition” of IMPROVE. The designer/reviewer uses the tablet-PC and the required toolset to produce, update the sketches and view them as part of the Mixed Reality view in the HMD. Together with built-in tracking camera and gesture tracking software it would also be possible to make sketching and annotations ‘in space’.
